Trip Reports

Tuckerman Ravine, NH

July 02, 2005

The last day of the 2005-2006 season! Semi-lunatic behavior commenced on a small and narrow patch of snow under the Headwall. Many fair weather hikers commented on how there could not possibly snow still in the Ravine. Was I training for next season? Much to the surprise of most hikers, the white stuff was still to be found in the Ravine and the turns were fantastic. Best turns I have ever made in July to date.
