Thanks for the comment, Bill! I agree on the gorgeous comment. Nice views and a very private feel with really nicely cut trails. If only the mountain were twice as tall and twice as steep and got a little more natural snow, it would be the best mountain in New Hampshire.

T2, as I recall, is skier's right of the summit chair about halfway down the mountain. It is the logical extension of Carter Notch Glade once you ski down around past the mid-station.

Black not only skis well on a powder day, but is drop-dead gorgeous. Seemingly a private reserve, the experience takes me back 30-40 years to a simpler time.

For the number of times I've been, I still for life of me don't know where T2 is! Then again, I don't look at trail signs, I just look for lines....

Nice reports.

p.s., on your secondary report, I've never seen the parking lot that full!!! :)

Thanks, David! The liftie working the Red Chair was extremely friendly and we chatted about how great the day was very briefly in the loading zone many times. You guys have a great crew and a great mountain. This reported was linked around to the northeast skiing forums and I have noticed some increased buzz about Black this season online. Glad to do my part in promoting an often over looked mountain that deserves more attention.

I was there, working, that day and sneeked a couple runs in that day.
Condition were awesome as usual, and please let the secret out about black mountain for all to enjoy because we love seeing you there.
